Paula Fair, Owner and Tutor

I have a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. Tutoring students is something that I began while in high school, working with disabled students. With my students’ success, I realized what a positive influence I could become in other people's lives and was hooked.

After high school, I studied effective teaching and learning techniques to help students quickly grasp their subject material. Professionally, I have tutored for over 25 years in both vocational and educational settings. Since 2008 I have focused on tutoring math. During this time I have taught K-12 students, college students, and professionals looking to advance in their careers.

My heartfelt philosophy is that each person is valuable. Some need assistance moving through specific aspects of their education. Everyone can learn and be successful. I am driven to engage, educate and empower each and every one of my students. It brings me tremendous satisfaction when I see my students change before my eyes, and become able to achieve their goals.

Ventura is my home. I love the tight-knit and friendly community here and am thankful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on our students’ lives.
