As needed each student receives a free initial consultation to establish learning style and areas of competence as well as identifying areas for improvement. If immediate help is required with homework or test prep, we skip the assessment and get started right away. Our goal is to work with each student to create study plans based on their needs and the way they learn. Understanding a student’s current abilities, needs and goals drives our interaction with each individual student.
Each session is structured to build a solid foundation of understanding and assist our students to comprehend each concept and demonstrate capabilities. Through this process, each student gains the skills needed to perform these functions on their own, such that a tutor may no longer be needed.
We have a proven track record tutoring students/clients ranging in age from 6 to 55, so we welcome students at all stages of study. All students are competent and sometimes just need guidance to demonstrate proficiency. We have experience tutoring students who are in K-12 education, home schooled, returning to college and working through learning disabilities.
